OMNIServiceUSA was dispatched to the Big Lots retail facility in Fairless Hills to address an active roof leak that threatened interior inventory and operational safety.
Our roofing specialists conducted a technical inspection and executed a high-performance membrane repair to restore the building’s atmospheric defense.
The facility reported a recurring leak originating from a complex transition point between different roofing materials. Upon inspection, it was determined that the interface between the TPO and EPDM membranes had become compromised, allowing water to penetrate the building envelope. Environmental debris and surface contamination required a deep-cleaning phase before a professional-grade seal could be established.
Our team began by meticulously cleaning and priming the affected surface areas to ensure maximum chemical adhesion. We installed a new 9-inch high-performance seam tape to bridge the transition between the TPO and EPDM sections. To ensure a multi-layered defense, we applied a continuous bead of industrial-grade lap seal around the entire perimeter of the repair and the transition joints. The project was finalized with the complete removal of all industrial debris, leaving the site clean and secured.
