Location: Wind Gap (Ocean State Job Lot)
Category: Precision Electrical Engineering & Infrastructure
OMNIServiceUSA was tasked with restoring and optimizing the exterior lighting control systems at the Wind Gap facility.
This project focused on replacing obsolete automation hardware to ensure consistent parking lot illumination and energy efficiency for the retail site.
The facility’s parking lot lighting was experiencing inconsistent operation due to a complete failure of the primary lighting controller. Without a functional automated system, the property was at risk of either extended dark periods—compromising safety—or excessive energy consumption due to lights remaining active beyond necessary operational hours.
Our electrical team performed a diagnostic of the existing control panel and confirmed that the legacy controller was no longer serviceable. We decommissioned and removed the faulty unit, replacing it with a high-precision industrial lighting timer (clock). Following the installation, we re-programmed the system to align with the facility's specific operational needs, adjusting the nightly shutoff time from 9:00 PM to 9:45 PM to ensure adequate light for staff and customers during the closing transition.

Measurable results that speak for themselves
Successfully restored 100% automated control to the exterior lighting grid.
Adjusted timing protocols to provide an additional 45 minutes of high-visibility illumination during peak closing hours.
Eliminated manual intervention requirements and ensured the system operates only when necessary, reducing energy overhead.
