Clinton Loading Dock Bollard Structural Replacement

Location: 9551 – Clinton (OSJL)
Category: Structural Safety & Heavy Masonry

Project Overview

OMNIServiceUSA was tasked with replacing high-priority safety infrastructure at the Clinton loading dock.

This project ensured the physical protection of the building’s loading bay against accidental vehicle impact.

The Challenge

Three existing safety bollards had become severely compromised by "rust-through" at the base. One bollard was reportedly being held together by wire, offering zero structural resistance to a docking semi-truck. To restore safety, the failing posts needed to be completely extracted and replaced with deep-anchored steel.

Our Approach

Our crew utilized industrial cutting equipment to remove the three rotted bollards. We excavated the sub-base to a depth of 36 inches to ensure the new posts would meet industrial impact standards. Three new high-visibility yellow bollards were set into the ground and encased in high-strength commercial cement.
